Small jadeite side-viewed flower of a mottled green color. The workmanship is rather rough and we believe that this flower was made at the end of the Qing dynasty (1644 – 1912) or during the Republic period (1912 – 1947). This type of flower is not depicted in professor Cheng Te-k’un’s book ‘Jade Flowers and Floral Patterns in Chinese Decorative Art ‘.
