Brooch with a flower with sepals – (0151)
[0151]

Translucent jade flower of the type which has sepals. It is mounted on a silver brooch. The silver setting most probably dates from the 1970’s but might be earlier. It entered the Lowlands-collection from America. A similar type of flower (nr 154) is depicted in professor Cheng Te-k’un’s book ‘Jade Flowers and Floral Patterns in Chinese Decorative Art’.
