Jade carving of a man on a lion made of light celadon green jade. The lion has a collar with a bell and the man is wearing a kind of beret and boots. The depiction of a man on a lion is typical of the Yuan period (1271 - 1368) to which this carving can also be attributed. We found it in an antiques shop on Hollywood Road, Hong Kong, in 1987. Height 5.3 cm. Width 4.8 cm. Depth 2.1 cm. Weight 68.3 cm
