Simple chop made from pure white jade. It dates from the late Qing period (1644 - 1912). The chop was discovered in Hong Kong in 1991. It reads ‘min shi shen yan’ (敏事慎言) which means 'use your brain before you start’. Height 3.8 cm. Width 2.5 cm. Depth 1.3 cm. Weight 28.0 grams.
