Silver two-pronged hairpin adorned with Kingfisher feathers, seed pearls, a brilliant-cut piece of red glass and two pieces of Burmese jadeite (fei tsui). One of the jadeite pieces is engraved with a 'shou' (long life) symbol. The hairpin dates from the late Qing period (1644 - 1912) and was acquired in Shanghai in 2004. Length 15.6 cm.
