Flat vessel ‘Pan’ from the Western Zhou period - (4050)

Heavily corroded bronze bowl called a ‘Pan’. It dates from the Western Zhou period (1029 – 771BC) and is decorated with stylized coiling dragons. The object was used as a water bowl. Diameter 36 cm. Height 9 cm.
