Bronze halberd or axe top inlaid with silver in whirls and scrolls. It used to be the finial of a lacquered pole and topped a ceremonial halberd or axe. Remnants of iron are still attached. This rare object dates from the Warring States (475 – 221BC) to the Western Han period (206BC – 25AD). Length 5.7 cm.
