Celluloid pair of seal dyed green - (3877)

These seals were made of green celluloid. Celluloid was an early form of plastic and very popular during the 1920’s and 30’s so we date these seals to the Republic period (1912 – 1947). The material comes in a vivid green color and has small silver inlaid dots. The seal both carry the name ‘Bang Shan’. Size of the oval seal: Height 3.6 cm. Width 1.1 cm. Depth 0.9 cm. Size of the square seal: Length 2.4 cm. Width 1.2 cm. Depth 1.2 cm.
