A seated man watches how a small boy is trying to keep a kite in the air. The kite is shaped like a huge butterfly. The boy holds a reel in his hands as if he is trying to reel in the kite. The deep-carved armorial shows a seated lion wearing a crown which is the family crest of Sir Kildare Dixon Borrowes (Baronet). The ring around the crest is decorated with a bird, a bee as well as rocks, flowers, houses and trees. The intricately fretted border is decorated with flowers. The counter dates from the Daoguang period (道光 1820 – 1850). Diameter 4.2 cm. Thickness 0.26 cm.
