[0037]

Rather crudely in blue and white painted porcelain saucer. The artist has depicted a house, flags and a pagoda. The scene shows similarities to the decoration on 18th century mother-of-pearl gaming counters which were, like this saucer, made to be exported to the West. The saucer dates from the 18th century, has a dark brown glazed back and is not signed. Diameter 12 cm. Height 2.2 cm.
