Green glazed pottery ‘ear cup’ which derives its name from the ear-shaped handles. Ear cups were used for drinking warm wine during the Han dynasty. This one has a beautiful, almost silver-like, iridescence and dates from that period (206BC – 220AD). It is in very good condition. Length 10.5 cm. Width 9.2 cm. THIS ITEM WAS SOLD AT AUCTION IN 2022.
