Miniature pottery horseshoe chair, so called because the chair back is shaped like the iron protective covering under a horse hoof. The back of this green and amber glazed chair is decorated with a stylized lotus flower. The seat is cold painted in black. Ming period (1368 - 1644). Height 21.5 cm. Width 13 cm. Depth 11 cm.
