Small stoneware bowl partly covered in a cream-colored glaze. An impressed decoration on the bottom shows an interesting whirling impressed decoration resembling a yin and yang symbol. The material from which it is made is very hard. The glaze, material and decoration point at the Tang dynasty (AD618 - 907) or Five Dynasties period (AD907 – 979) but a Song period (AD960 – 1279) dating is also possible. Diameter 5.5 cm. Height 2.6 cm.
