Box on four ball feet which was specifically designed for hairpins as witnessed by the hairpin on the lid. It is decorated all around with embossed chrysanthemum flowers, symbol of 'Longevity'. The box which was made around 1900 is marked with the initials 'TC' for Tuck Chang who worked in Shanghai and Hong Kong. It was added to the Lowlands-collection in 2009. Length 10.3 cm. Width 4.5 cm.
