In 2001, a trusted friend and well-known antiques dealer in Hong Kong, presented this beautiful brush pot to us as a gift. It is made of 'huanghuali', one of the most esteemed hardwoods in China, and dates from the 18th century. The grain and the color of the wood make this brush pot one of our favorite objects.
