Cloisonné seal paste box and cover decorated with stylized lotus flowers. Seal paste boxes held an ink paste which was used to sign documents or paintings with a chop (seal) mark. It dates from the early 19th century or may possibly even be slightly earlier. Diameter 8.2 cm. Height 5.9 cm.
