Two white glazed porcelain brush washers shaped as Buddhist Lions, also known as 'Fu dogs'. Buddhist lions symbolize Harmony, Blessings and Protection as well as High Rank. These two date from the late Qing period (1644 - 1912). Length 6.5 cm. Width 5.5 cm. Height 4.4 cm.
