Very small silk embroidered child’s hat with a flower-shaped appliqué on top with each of the petals decorated with a different lucky symbol. On the front is a silver gilt ornament inset with a piece of jade and strings of seed pearls hang down from the sides. There is little doubt that this hat was made for a baby. Early 20th century.
