Traditional Chinese silk men’s cap which was especially made for the hot summer months. It is very airy as a result of a thin silk cover over a structure of woven bamboo strips. The cap dates from the end of the Qing period (1644 – 1912). Height 11 cm. Diameter ca 18 cm.
