Pink silk child’s collar embroidered with Phoenix and Peonies. The Phoenix represents Rank and Prosperity whereas the Peony symbolizes Wealth and Honor. This collar must originally have belonged to a boy wishing him a successful career. It dates from the Republic period (1912 – 1947). Size of the collar: Diagonally 29 cm. Width 24 cm.
