Silk flower-shaped collar embroidered with auspicious flowers. Depicted are the usual well-wishers such as a Plum flower (Five Blessings), an Osmanthus flower (Distinguished sons), a Lotus flower (Continuous Harmony), a Peony (Wealth & Honor) and a Pomegranate (many children). The collar dates from the late Qing (1644 – 1912) to the early Republic period (1912 – 1947). Size of the collar: Diameter 28 cm.
