Square silver needle case decorated with Plum flowers (Five Blessings, see QF 8258) and other flowers which are unknown to us. The chain is attached to the tubular needle holder inside and the hook is decorated with a small Bat (Blessings & Riches). A carnelian flower dangles at the bottom. The needle case is not marked and dates from the late Qing (1644 – 1912) to the early Republic period (1912 – 1947). Total length including hook 42 cm. Needle case length 6.8 cm. Width 1.3 cm.
