Small red and gold lacquered pair of bamboo looms on which fine ribbons were woven. The ribbons were used as adornment on lotus shoes, purses etc. The pair dates from the end of the Qing period (1644 – 1912). Size of the large loom: Width 18.1 cm. Height 15.1 cm. Thickness 1 cm. Small loom: Width 16.5 cm. Height 12.2 cm. Thickness 1.1 cm.
