Silver needle case which consists of two tubes to be used for different needles. The case is decorated in openwork with Osmanthus flowers which symbolize the hope for Distinguished sons. Seven small bells hang down from chains with double links. A fish (Abundance) dangles in the centre. The needle case dates from the late Qing (1644 – 1912) to the early Republic period (1912 – 1947).
