Belt hook of a standard type. Many of this same type were produced during the Qing Dynasty (1644 - 1912). The fact that the qilin is standing high on its legs points at a later date, possibly 19th century. The material is of a nice light celadon green and the carving is well done. Length 9.8 cm.
