Silver comb decorated on one side with a Lotus blossom which symbolizes ‘Continuous Harmony’ and on the other side with Chrysanthemum (Longevity) and Osmanthus (Distinguished sons) flowers. The comb has a bamboo-shaped rim which represents Humility, Fidelity and Peace. It dates from the late Qing (1644 – 1912) to the early Republic period (1912 – 1947). Width 10.7 cm. Height 4.8 cm. Depth 0.8 cm.
