Gilt silver filigree hairpin topped by a dragon’s head. Traces of paint are still visible. A dragon is believed to bring rain and therefore symbolizes Fertility. The hairpin most probably dates from the late Qing (1644 – 1912) to the early Republic period (1912 – 1947). Length 16 cm. Width 1.5 cm.
