Miniature shrine with a bearded Deity – (3685)

Silver miniature shrine which could be hung from the belt. It comes in the shape of a shrine with embossed flowers on the sides and the back. Inside is a bearded silver Deity whom we have not yet identified. The shrine dates from the late Qing period (1644 – 1912). The attached hook is shaped like a Phoenix symbolizing Rank and Prosperity. The shrine dates from the late Qing period (1644 – 1912). Total length 12 cm. Shrine: Height 4.3 cm. Width 2.4 cm. Depth 2.9 cm.
