Pair of silver objects in the shape of gold ingots. The decoration consists of bats (Blessings & Riches). ‘Gold bars’ such as these were presented as Good Luck tokens wishing their new owner Good Fortune. They date from the late Qing (1644 – 1912) to the early Republic period (1912 – 1947). Length 3.8 cm. Height 2.0 cm. Depth 1.9 cm.
