Small lacquered woodcarving of a dignitary sitting under a canopy. The carver did a very good job in depicting this smiling person. The woodcarving originally formed part of a piece of furniture and dates from the end of the Qing period (1644 – 1912). Height 8.0 cm. Width 3.5 cm. Depth 2.1 cm.
