Reddish brown lacquered shrine in two parts. The outer shell which has a small glass window serves as a cover for the inner shrine. The outer shell is decorated with good luck symbols whereas the inner shrine is painted in dark brown with a carved and gilt front and a curved roof. The inside of the shrine is covered in dark blue silk. We are not sure but believe that this shrine dates from around 1930. It came from friends in 2007. Height of the outer shell 29 cm. Width 24.5 cm. Depth 12.5 cm.
