Gilt bronze statue of the green Tara, also known as Syamatara, protector against all dangers. The Goddess Tara is seated on a lotus throne with one foot resting on a lotus flower. There is an inscription on all four sides in Sanskrit. Some turquoise inlay is missing. The statue is of 18th century date and originates in Nepal. Height 24.5 cm. Width 14 cm. Depth 10 cm.
