Small lacquered shrine with intricately pierced doors. The black interior is decorated in gold with panels showing a wooded landscape with people, a bridge and a pavilion. The carving of the doors as well as the interior painting are very well done. The altar dates from the late Qing period (1644 - 1912) and came from friends of ours in 2008. Height 46 cm.
