The Goddess of Mercy, Guanyin, has a peaceful expression on her face and seems to be absorbed in thought. She is dressed in a finely engraved gown decorated with Lotus flowers and Bamboo, symbols of Continuous Harmony, Humility and Peace. The carving of this miniature object was done in great detail and the artist Qiu Yue (秋月) has managed to add a wonderful tranquility to his creation. Height 5.3 cm. Width 2.3 cm. Depth 1.7 cm.
