Amusing carving of a fisherman emptying some pots, one of which contains an octopus. The creature grabs a small boy by his leg and the boy bursts into tears. The eyes of the octopus have been inlaid with horn. The object is signed but we have not been able to figure out the name of the carver. Height 4.3 cm. Width 4.5 cm. Depth 3.9 cm.
