Two Boys expressing a wish to get many Sons clutch a giant peach representing Longevity just as the Linghzi fungus depicted. An upside down Bat represents the saying ‘Blessings have arrived’ and a cartouche which shows the characters ‘He Wei Gui’ (Harmony forever) complements the picture. The modern carving carries a signature Yu Hua (宇华) whose full name is Tao Yu Hua (陶宇华). He is a carver from Suzhou and learned the trade from his cousin, the well-known carver Tao Li Hua (陶莉华). Length 3.7 cm. Diameter 1.9 cm.
