Pair of chestnut-like exercise nuts which would both be rolled around in one hand to improve its flexibility. Especially older people with a beginning form of rheumatism would benefit from these exercise nuts. They can be compared to the sets of metal balls which are still used by elderly Chinese for the same purpose. Apparently the nuts were extensively used because they have a nice patina. It is difficult to establish their age but we believe that they date from the beginning of the 20th century. Diameter 4 cm. Height 2 cm.
