Small bronze incense burner decorated with scrolling foliage. The grips are formed like clouds. On the openwork lid sits a boy who beats a flat drum with a stick. The incense burner dates from the late Edo period (1603 – 1867). Height 11.2 cm. Width including grips 10.7 cm. Diameter bowl 7.5 cm.
