Miniature green glazed pottery model of an oven with two burners. The larger bottom holes on the front of the oven were used to insert wood or charcoal for heating. Smaller rectangular air vents are positioned right above these holes. In the old days ovens were built with bricks which is depicted by the potter. The oven is in good condition and dates from the Ming period (1368 – 1644). Length 13.2 cm. Width 7 cm. Height 8 cm. THIS ITEM WAS SOLD AT AUCTION IN 2022.
