Square sacrificial vessel (2034-2)

Miniature dark green glazed square pottery sacrificial vessel on four feet. Vessels such as this were used for the burning of incense and could be found, usually in an ensemble with other vessels, on altar tables. This one is in good condition and dates from the Ming period (1368 – 1644). Length 8.6 cm. Width 4.1 cm. Height 9 cm. THIS ITEM WAS SOLD AT AUCTION IN 2022.
