Miniature dark green and brown glazed dish with a large fish which looks like a pike but could just as well be a carp as it has many scales. Objects such as this were often placed on a miniature pottery table together with other food items which makes us believe that they were offerings. This one dates from the Ming period (1368 – 1644). Diameter dish 6.7 cm. Height including fish 4.9 cm. Length fish 10.4 cm. This item was sold at auction in 2022.
