Large burlwood toggle in the shape of a dancing pig carved from a gnarled root. The amusing creature lifts one leg as if dancing the ‘can-can’. It dates from the Qing period (1644 – 1912). Height 8.2 cm. Width 5.7 cm. Depth 4.6 cm.
