Clip with a three-decked flower – (4526)
[4526]

Silver clip mounted with a white three-decked jade flower. It is marked on the back with Chinese characters ‘Pure silver’ and in English the word ‘China’. We assume that the silver mounting was made in the 1930’s in China. The clip entered the Lowlands-collection from America. A similar type of flower (nr 252) is depicted in professor Cheng Te-k’un’s book ‘Jade Flowers and Floral Patterns in Chinese Decorative Art’.
