Shoushan-stone seal carved by the well known Chinese painter, calligrapher and carver Qian Juntao (1907 – 1998) from Zhejiangtongxiang Village. We believe that he carved this seal around 1950 but it could also date from the late Republic period (1912 – 1949). Depicted is a fisherman in a mountainous landscape. Height 4.9 cm. Width 2.0 cm.
