Light blue silk money-purse embroidered with Lotus flowers, symbols of marriage in addition to purity. This purse has never been used as it looks almost new and is still closed by stitches. A belt passed through the top of the purse. It dates from the end of the Qing dynasty (1644 – 1912). Length 18.2 cm. Width 8.1 cm.
