Porcelain vase decorated on one side in blue and white with a landscape depicting houses, mountains, trees and people. On the back, a lonely boatman pushes his raft forward. Interesting is an old label on the bottom apparently stuck on by a previous collector. We can make out the word Lohr or Löhr IV. Was this vase once part of the collection of the famous Oriental art expert Professor Max Löhr? The vase probably dates from the early 19th century. The stand is old and could be of the same period. Height without stand 25 cm. Diameter 12 cm.
