Miniature partly glazed model of a watchtower. The unglazed areas were cold-painted and some of the paint is still remaining. The colors dark brown, green and amber were used for the glazing. A watchtower is a rare occurrence in the world of miniature funerary objects. The condition of this one is good apart from some glaze fritters. It dates from the Ming period (1368 – 1644).
