Flower 295 - (1789)
[1789]

A fire, which was not unusual as Chinese houses were almost entirely built of wood, gave this flower its grey and black colour. This type of flower is not depicted in professor Cheng Te-k’un’s book ‘Jade Flowers and Floral Patterns in Chinese Decorative Art ‘.
