Silk child’s collar embroidered with auspicious flowers such as a Peony (Wealth & Honor), a Lotus (Continuous Harmony), a Plum flower (Five Blessings), Butterflies (Blessings & Happiness) and a bird which may be a Phoenix (Rank & Prosperity). The collar dates from the late Qing (1644 – 1912) to the early Republic period (1912 – 1947). Size of the collar: Diagonally 27 cm. Width 22.5 cm.
