Small Hetian river jade pebble of translucent greenish yellow color with a brown ‘skin’. It was found in the White Jade River in Hetian (formerly known as Khotan). Hetian lies in the Uyghur Autonomous Region in China, famous for its fine quality nephrite. Length 4.4 cm. Width 2.0 cm. Depth 1.1 cm. Weight 15.5 grams.
